Plexamp - would love to be able to keep some tracks in sequence when shuffling

I’d love to be able to set songs to always play together in sequence when shuffling. Kind of confusing to describe, but an example: set song A, B, and C so that they will always play back-to-back in order when they’re picked in shuffle, in that order (A → B → C)

I listen to a lot of live music and, especially for a band like Phish, this would be really useful. It’s easily my favorite feature from a separate Windows music app, MusicBee.

Thanks for the suggestion! There’s already an existing thread discussing an option to keep the sequence of certain tracks when shuffling (e.g. for live albums where those tracks have a dedicated transition or a separate intro/outro to a song…). I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Ability to "connect" songs in a playlist so they always play together

Those of us who like bands that transition seamlessly form one song to the next would love the ability to randomize a playlist, but it always separates those multi-song connected sections. It would be wonderful if there was a way to check a box or something next to songs in a playlist to tell Plex to always play these specific songs in this order, or always shuffle these connected songs together.

Option to use existing m3u for playlist feature

It would be nice to have an option to point Plex to existing m3u playlists and use those for Plex playlists for a DLNA/UPnP music server or serving to Plex clients. Or if not to be used as Plex playlists it could be a separate feature called something like "External Playlists."  Right now I am aware of one piece of software that can make M3u available via UPnP, but I was hoping just to consolidate to use just Plex for all media serving.
