The last Panasonic TV TX-50DXW784, almost always had around 94min. an app crash!
The Smart TV CPU was said to be too weak!
Now I have bought a new high-end SmartTV from Panasonic from 2019 (TX-65GZC1004).
Now the Plex app has a hang every 10-15min!
I feel totally screwed by Plex here !!! Every few days there is a new server version but a stable player app; Wrong!
sry. not to support such a large manufacturer in such an environment.
It just sucks!
and on the website (my first post) Panasonic is listed as Supported!
So I also expect support, it can’t be that difficult for the programmer to provide a simple, simple app that works!
The APP is also offered on the SmartTV in the APP shop.
There are many users who want clean Panasonic support here, as said on the Plex website, support is still advertised why .
The fact that the latest models should not be supported is simply pointless. No matter which OS.
Plex is supposed to be a server / client APP that runs on all devices if possible, especially in the main range such as TVs.
The focus has to be on that and not on the very last unknown cell phone …
why complex exceptions, but write we support no playback devices and offer and a server, watch is totally overrated anyway ???
Not to jump to Plex defence, I think the fact that they supported so many devices and then dropped support absolutly blows.
But on your site they also have this line…

You are right, it sucks, its unproffesional and if there was an ecosystem that I could easilly move to I would.
But plex have got me over a barrel and they know it.
