I am under the impression from the PlexBMC Wiki Page that installing PlexBMC will cause my Kodi installation to show up as a "play to" target from within the Android Plex app. I hope I am reading that right, because that is my goal.
I followed the installation instructions on the Wiki, and can access my Plex content through the menus now (which is cool) but I still cannot get Kodi to show up as a target.
I would try post in the PlexBMC thread, [here](https://forums.plex.tv/topic/106593-plexbmc-xbmc-add-on-to-connect-to-plex-media-server/), to get it noticed more. This is a third party tool and thus you'll have to get help from either the dev or other people using it.
Unfortunately the setting above is what got me working when I was in a similar position. What version are you running? I'm on v4.0.0.0 beta4, before that I was having a lot of Plex Home issues. The first post is the link above has the links to the betas on the release site if you haven't seen them already.
I already replied to this issue in the other thread, but I'll expand on the issue differently here.
The main problem is that the 'helper' addon is obsolete (all existing versions of it).
It's no longer compatible with new versions of XBMC/Kodi or current PlexBMC versions (which are needed for Kodi).
To use existing 'helper' addons you would have to stick to very old XBMC versions (Early Gotham versions or older), and corresponding PlexBMC versions.
The 'helper' compatibility was lost in some of the late Gotham versions, so anything newer than that will not work.
But in all other respects the new line of PlexBMC versions by hippojay works fine with the latest Kodi versions, and my hope is that he will in time also include the 'helper' ability to receive media 'casts' without needing any 'helper' addon. (He already included the 'helper' ability of reporting 'Now Playing' info to the server.)
