Hi I am using plexbmc plugin on my xmbc media center.
I am not sure whether this plugin support myplex and I am trying to connect my remote server and I need some help to configure it.
My remote server is plex media server 0.9.5.2 running and when I try to access though plexbmc client getting error 401, Unauthorized.
Also I don't know what is my remote server username and password which the documents reffer as below
Authentication
Only required for remote access (outside of local network)
Authentication required - do you need to use a user/password to access Plex Media Server
PMS username - User name for PMS
PMS Password - Password for PMS
I have the same issue. I am unable to authenticate, while it does perfectly work when I use these credentials logging on to MyPlex website.
I tried to do the same with PMC (Plex Media Center) but noticed I also cannot authenticate. I get the error: “Error signing in”.
@Leonsio: Did this downgrading to 0.9.3.2 resolve the issue for you? I don’t really want to sacrifice newer features from 0.9.5.2, but if there’s no other option than that’ll have to do.

You can actually downgrade to 0.9.3 set a username and password in PMS then uppgrade again to 0.9.5 and the username and password will be there to use with PleXBMC.
PleXBMC does not support myplex for now. I hope there will be an update for it.
