How to install plexbmc on xbmc4xbox

Need to know how to get this working on my xbox
Hello everyone.

I just started using my Plex Media Server (love it!) and discovered that there was a client for my Xbox1.
So, I dusted off my original xbox, installed xbmc4xbox v31137 (t3ch edition) and tried to install Plexmbc.
It doesn't look like xbmc4xbox has the ability to add 3rd party repos the same way that xbmc for PC/ATV versions do, so I tried to install the app manually.
I FTP'd the contents of the plexbmc zip package into /plugins/video/Plexbmc/ and the app now shows up under "Video".
However, I get an error on each of the three stable plexbmc versions I try.

Am I missing something to get plexbmc to work on my xbox?

i am trying to do the same. over here at is a custom version of xbmc4xbox with all updated and compatable plugins and others have replied to the thread trying to get the dev to make a plugin work

as of right now the plugin from plex PleXBMC V1.9.6.3 for XBMC 10.1/Dharma legacy gets an error "505 internal server error"

Hi I've tried the latest PleXBMC 3.0 running on xbmc4xbox 3.5 and have had a bit of success.

I can see the available media on the server and can play music from it, but cannot play any video.

I tried the XBMC.xml profile from another poster on this site, see

But from the plex server logs this doesn't appear to be being selected.

Hopefully there is a simple enough explanation for this.
