Plexconnect and aTV 3

hey guys,

I've been browsing these forums for hours now, and I've tried everything you told other people to do.

But im still at a loss.

 

ATV 3 running 5.2.1 software IP 192.168.0.12 and i've manually added the DNS which is my computers ip 192.168.0.10 (before it was 193.162.153.164)

I've downloaded the PlexConnect_XML-Templates and i've edited the "Settings.py" file, i exchanged the ip_dnsmaster value with the DNS i got for the ATV.

The PlexConnect is installed on a Windows 8 PC with the following IP 192.168.0.10, and so is the PMS Version 0.9.7.28.

 

I dont have any other webservices running that would block the port.

If you did the above as described then you certainly did not follow our guide.

Throw away your files and read the sticky for install guides and how to report a problem.


Please do not use any guides on third party websites are 99.9% of them are out of date.

If you find mistakes in ours or ambiguities then we will happily make changes.

And I still get an error.

You have something hogging port 80, use the following to find out what:

Seems like it way either my skype application or dropbox. Thanks alot.

You can prevent Skype using port 80 in the advanced options of it.
