"Trailer is unavailable. Try agian later " msg making me sad :(

So I've read the sticky, followed the guide, and read a lot topics here. I am still having an issue. Maybe it's just a user issue (me) , but I'd like a push in the right direction if i am missing something here.

My firewall is turned off and I left my atv3 powered off for the day.   Also my atv3 DNS is set to the IP of my machine running PMS.

Here are my CFG settings:

[PlexConnect]
port_pms = 32400
enable_plexgdm = True
ip_dnsmaster = 192.168.0.1
ip_webserver = 0.0.0.0
loglevel = Normal
enable_dnsserver = True
ip_pms = 192.168.0.101
port_webserver = 80

And my logs:

22:40:13 PlexConnect: PlexConnect

I am stumped .. Any help or wise words would be much appreciated.

Looks fine to me. If you change the ip_dnsmaster to 8.8.8.8, does it start working (after restarting the computer and the ATV)?

I would also set enable_plexgdm to false. You don’t need it since you’ve manually specified th IP of the PMS.

Made the following changes and still  nothing : (

[PlexConnect]
port_pms = 32400
enable_plexgdm = false
ip_dnsmaster = 8.8.8.8
ip_webserver = 0.0.0.0
loglevel = Normal
enable_dnsserver = True
ip_pms = 192.168.0.101
port_webserver = 80

I would restart your PMS, and once that is up restart Plexconnect. Then I would unplug the ATV from the wall outlet for 10 seconds and plug it back in. See if that changes anything. If none of that works try rebooting the Router.

And if none of that works you should probably provide more details about your entire setup following the template in the “Read Before Posting” sticky above.

still didn't work; i'll try again this evening and post logs and screen shots of my entire setup.

Does it matter if my ATV3 is on wireless or Ethernet?  I am still having issues even after giving it to a friend to try it out.  I haven't gotten a chance to take screen shots of what i am doing exactly, hopefully this weekend i can.

Ok so I got it working finally !  I disabled dropbox, teamviewer, google-talk.  That didn't work so i disabled my firewall entirely.  I also reset my atv3 settings to default just to be sure.That did that trick. I'll have to play around with my rules a bit more.

Cheers :)
