PlexConnect and DNS Server

I just installed PlexConnect on my ATV3 and love it. The thing is that I changed the DNS address to point to the an address on my internal home network. Before I was pointing to a DNS server address that gave me access to US NetFlix. How can I use the DNS server(UNblock-US) in conjunction with PlexConnect so I don't lose my US contents of Netflix.

in the Settings.cfg file for plexconnect,  change ip_dnsmaster = 8.8.8.8 to the IP of UNblock-US should work

Hello dear Plex experts,

I seem to have the same problem, but .. I cannot find the Settings.cfg. either in the DSM, or in finder... I don't know.

I reinstall plex connect on the Nas DS214play but still netflix and others app are not working.

The trailer library is working fine.

any help?

Hi all,

I tried to find the Settings.cfg everywhere but no luck so far..

I tried to SSH login in the Mac terminal using: ssh root@ip but I got the response:

-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'

 

When i tried to login with root login into DSM, it says:

You are not authorized to login on this DiskStation, please contact your administrator for authorization.

 

It is me or My Syno doesn't want me to look into it???

Any ideas on how to find this Settings.cfg??

So I was able to login into terminal and reaching:

DiskStation> /usr/local/plexconnect/share/PlexConnect/Settings.cfg

You probably shouldn't RUN that file, but open in an editor?

Pb solved thanks guys. I had to reinstall all as I lost some of the permissions with the DSM update.
