After having some initial difficulty setting up Plexconnect I finally got it working and all was well. I recently went to access Hulu Plus and got the Geo Restriction message. I don't however get this message when watching Netflix or other such services. I should have stated that I'm using Unblock-Us for my DNS since I'm not in the USA. I put the appropriate DNS address (208.122.23.22) in the ip_dnsmaster in the Settings.py file and as I mentioned Netflix, Vevo and other apps work but Hulu Plus sees that I'm not in the US. Trailers is also working fine so I'm at a loss as to why I can't access Hulu Plus. Any help would be appreciated because so far I've not been able to get a solution from the good folks at Unblock-Us.com.
If you change the ATV’s DNS to that I unblock-us, do you still have the issue? Just a test to see if it is actually plexconnect related
Have you tried changing the DNS on the ATV to the Unblockus DNS just to make sure HuluPlus works without Plexconnect running?
I have changed the DNS on the ATV3 to the Unblockus DNS and Hulu Plus works fine and Trailers of course goes back to showing actual trailers. When I put the DNS back to the computer's address where my PMS is located then I get trailers back and lose Hulu Plus.
Is anyone else able to test this? I have Plexconnect and Unblockus but do not subscribe to HuluPlus anymore. I can enter the app and it is willing to reactivate my account but I haven’t gone beyond that point. When does the location warning appear for you?
The app opens with no problem. I can go through all of the various selections. It's only when I go to actually play an episode that I get the Geo Restriction message.
I have the same problem as Pab with having to chose between Plex or Hulu. I should mention I'm also not in the US and use Unblock-us. I also have a Roku and Hulu works fine on it.
you need to change the ip_dnsmaster in Settings.cfg not Settings.py

If you have just installed Plexconnect there will be no settings.cfg, and you use settings.py for the initial configuration. I assume this is what the poster is referring to since Plexconnect is working for everything but HuluPlus.
I guess we need some networking gurus to step in and speculate on how the addition of the SSL via port 443 could affect how Plexconnect communicates thought the DNSmaster IP.
You should never change the settings.py. Just start the plexconnect once and then change the cfg. Otherwise you can't just do a git pull
I think that I tried that sometime back but it did not solve the problem that I was having with Hulu Plus but I will try it again and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

Thank You! This has solved my problem. Started over from scratch. Made the ip_dnsmaster changes to the Settings.cfg file and not the settings.py file and Hulu Plus is now back up and running properly. Thanks Again!
Umm, how was Netflix working then if you didn’t have the DNS in setting.cfg setup properly?
I have no idea but Netflix was working fine. I could access the playlists on Vevo but could not access anything on the Disiney Channels and the actual episodes on Hulu Plus.
