I have a channel I was writing over the time the update came through and the channel was still working
But I’ve made another change to the channel (to remove a URL service and a bunch if other things ) and now I notice when trying to play the video comes up with a trailers Unavailable.
What determines if a channel will work in plexconnsct or not? This same channel works in PHT, roku, plex web and iOS.
What do I need to do to the channel to get it to work?
The only channel that I have tried since the update that no longer works fully is the live stream in Twit TV, although archived videos still play. I am not sure if there is enough info yet to determine what is going on. What do your logs say?
I'll try and generate some logs - thought I had some. Do yoiu need the PMS log, channel log and System log? Do you want the PlexConnect console log as well?
Umm. I’m not a programmer. Lol. I was just asking what you see in them. On the Plexconnect side, it would be Baa or Roidy who would know what’s up but they don’t support channels yet. On the channels sides, both Mikedm139 and Sanders1 might be helpful as well, they seem to have a grasp of what Plexconnect is capable of. For my part I am willing to test and provide logs but not analyse them.
PlexConnect does support channels - was in ABC.Com last night, and did have my channel running before I made some changes to it.
Plexconnect will play many channels, what I meant was is that the developers do not fully support individual channels in terms of development and troubleshooting, at this moment.
