Airplay seems all messed up since i installed plexconnect...especially on youtube via ipad and android twonkyBeam.
Also, i can not configure settings in apple TV3 to use an Ipad Remote App anymore (in settings the apple TV hangs when i try to allow permissions for remote apps).
Any ideas?
This sounds like it may just be an apple tv problem, I would try doing a restore and test the apple tv and then if you are satisfied I would make the dns change again and see if it happens again.
This may well be a problem when forwarding on DNS requests that plex connect doesn’t handle. For example if your Apple TV browses to the Internet not looking for the trailers URL then plex connect passes the request onto whatever dns server you specified. If you didn’t specify one then it passes onto googles 8.8.8.8 address bypassing your router altogether. This might make the apple remote setting hang because it isn’t able to find any local devices because the plex connect is forcing the request from the Apple TV to google instead of your local router. I have plexconnect forward all other requests to my local router and everything works fine for me. Your local router is most likely 192.1681.1 or 192.168.0.1. Check those the DNA server setting in the settings.cfg file for plex connect set it to you local router address and restart plexconnect. I suspect it will fix your problems.
