I am running the latest alpha (2013-08-10) of PlexConnect and it's working great.
However, I encountered an issue yesterday where a TV season containing a pilot episode labeled as S01E00 would not display. When I select "All episodes" or "Season 1" on the TV show page I get the error message "Trailers is not available. try again later."
All other seasons of this TV show work perfectly, as do all other TV shows. When I remove the pilot episode from my Plex Library, Season 1 displays and functions perfectly, so it has to have something to do with this.
Also Season 1 (with pilot episode present in library) displays and functions correctly on Plex for iOS (iPad and iPhone).
what show is this? i have never heard of using 00 for a pilot episode. is that what is says it is on thetvdb.com (that's where plex gets its metadata)?
though i don't know why it would give you that error
TheTVDB lists the pilot as S00E01, while IMDB lists it as S01E00, hence the confusion.
IMDB and TheTVDB seem to handle TV specials differently.
I'm confused :unsure: If it's a TV Show then you should be using theTVDB as your metadata agent by default, my PMS wont even let me use imdb for TV Shows.
I only meant to say that before I started using Plex, I used IMDB information to name my media. Now that I'm using Plex I should indeed name everything according to the theTVDB database (since it's the only available option) and avoid running into ATV limitations at same time :)
