Trying to get Plex (Windows 7) working with my new ATV3 but im stuck when i'm trying to launch PlexConnect.py. First, it want me to choose a program to open the file with. It doesen't open if i choose Python. I've tried to first open Python and drop the PlexConnect-file in to it but nothing happens.
I haven't got the settings.cfg file either.
I've installed Plex Media Server, changed the ATV:s DNS to the same IP as the computer.
Sorry if the answer is in another topic but i've searched all over the internet the whole day to find a solution,
Finally it worked when i dropped the PlexConnect.py on the Python icon.
Another question. My setup is Apple TV 3, HDMI to TV and optical to Logitech Z-5500 surround system. It works but there is a small sync issue. The audio is slightly before the video, I can here an eco when i turn the sound from the TV up. The sound from the TV is in sync with the picture.
Dolby digital is on. Resolution is set to 1080p 60hz.
I have the same problem when airplaying media from my ipad or iphone.
