Not yet, it probably needs to be fixed at the server end.
It might be possible for you to manually tweak the file but I need to have a play about with it first.
Sure? all .ts-Files work very well with transcoding on iOS or Roku 3. Is this really a Server issue?
Okay i took a look at the sample ts file and had some strange findings:
If i played it in VLC or MplayerX it played smoothly on my desktop
If i tried to play it in Quicktime X then it almost locked up my machine trying to play it - it just choked
If i tried to play it in the Plex desktop client it played but dropped frames and paused constantly
On the iOS client it played but dropped frames and paused constantly
I could not get it to work on PlexConnect
I think there is a wider issue here, although i have a decent processor on my desktop/server (i5 750 that can handle 1080p high bitrate easily) it was choking on this when playing it in Plex but not in VLC/MplayerX - maybe something to do with the fact i have a 210 graphics card and no hardware video acceleration?
Maybe someone else can jump in here and do some tests to make sure it is not specific to my setup (make sure you try with and without VGA acceleration).
I have also noticed this issue with one of my movies. I'm attaching the media info if it can help you trace the problem...
This movie CAN be played if I'm using Elan's branch of PlexConnect but not with the latest release from the official branch.

If it works on iOS, it should work on PlexConnect. There was some code which assumed .ts files were directly playable, which I removed in my temporary fork.
But no Content Playback with .ts-Files... I don`t get an error message, but instead the "circle of death" and nothing happens... Same with BR-Folders. All went fine like before with all other clients (iPad + Co., Mac, etc.)
How about some logs - loglevel High? Restart PlexConnect just before you hit the final PLAY command to get the spinning circle, this will create a nice and short log for us. :-D
thanks for answering:-) What could i exactly do for you to Check the issue? I restart PlexConnect, Hit the Play Button and got my CoD… After that where can i find the Log you want to have a Look for? Sorry…
