i have successfully installed and using OpenPlex and really loved it
since i am located outside the US i have been using blockless so as to access Netflix
the problem is that i use manually configuration of DNS from blockless service and not the ones provided for Plexconnect
my question is can i use with at the same time.?i mean plea and the DNS provided so as to use Netflix?

i was trying to modify this file but have trouble doing so
do i open this with textedit/notepad
or a more complex editor?

It's a text file. You have to stop PlexConnect before updating it. I'm not a OpenConnect user, but I think that OpenConnect allows you to stop / start PlexConnect in an orderly way.

cool thanks once again...have really messed up with dans and now can't have them both..seems like i have to eater use one dans of plexocnnect or for Netflix:(

Try replacing your Settings.cfg with a fresh one from Baa’s github and then edit just the line:
ip_dnsmaster = 8.8.8.8
Replace the 8.8.8.8 with the DNS provided by your DNS spoofing service.

have changed just that to the blockless DNS saved it run openplex

the worst case scenario is that overtime i want to use one of the two service i have to change the dans to the one that is available for each o them :(
Did you actually restart Plexconnect after the change to the settings.cfg file. You keep mentioning OpenPlex which is just a helper app, not the actual Plexconnect code, and a restart of Plexconnect is required.

I finally resolved the issye
it was an issue with thee blockless website that I had to refresh the ip that I sas given which means. That the settings on plexconnect were. Correct!
everything works great now!!

Moody, There has been a bit of debate about whether this is actually happening. Both Netflix and DNS services have denied it is anything more than a temporary issue:

guys i have read about this and the response that Netflix had regarding this issue
my personal opinion is that they know people use DNS well some of them and hey will still let this go...still they earn money from this so thee is no reason stopping it
they will stop it if they loose money :D
