PlexConnect won’t create or change ATVSettings.cfg

Hey Guys,

since for a while PlexConnect won’t change or create the ATVSettings.cfg. I have it running on Ubuntu and placed in /var/lib/ tripple checked the access rights and figured out, if i remove Settings.cfg it would be created a new one, but ATVSettings.cfg isn’t touched or created if i change some settings or restart plexconnect.

The Logfile says nothing about handling the cfg files.

Any help with this?

Regards

Manuel

This was an issue that arose in Plexconnect builds about a week ago but has since been fixed. Make sure you a have a version dated September 28th or later.

Hmm, i’ve got the latest Version from git today and have this Problem.

Hey, got the latest version from github today and still have this. It don’t touch the existing file, i deleted the config file but it don’t create a new one.

How are you starting and stopping PlexConnect?

PlexConnect needs to be shutdown with a break command ctrl+c to save the config files.

I use the start/stop script for Ubuntu, postet here in the board.

I’ll try what happens if i run PlexConnect in the Shell and stop it there.

I'll guess you are using the old ones then. They had that issue. I posted new ones and then I think the latest git has correct startup/shutdown scripts included.

Hmm, ok. I dont know which ist the oldone but ill have a look for yours.
