I’ve got a problem. When i start plexconnect (as in the trailers app) the settings keep reverting to default. What i mean is that in the plexconnect settings > appearance > the views will not be saved from the last time i set them. The transcoder settings appear to be saving though.
In your PlexConnect dir, check the existance of "aTVSettings.cfg". This file will hold the aTV dependant settings - once PlexConnect does a nice shutdown (a kill or some other hurting exit does NOT count!).
Open it and have alook - you should see a "default" section as well as one titles with your aTV UDID (this one holds your latest settings). You might also see a "007" section... but that is another story :-)

Sorry if im being a noob. I don't see a "aTVSettings.cfg" file, only the two "aTVSettings.py" & "aTVSettings.pyc". So not sure what you mean, is the file created once I start plexconnect?
It is created the first time you shut down the application cleanly.
Are you using the version linked in the install guide on the wiki? If not you are using old code and should download the version here.

I set the aTV to sleep then I just close the plexconnect normally. How am I meant to close it?
