My wishlist for this app that will never happen… 
I’d love to be able to control the “star value” of movies as well as to be able to add shows/movies either manually or having the app scrape for the info.
I’d also love for the app to be fully scriptable. So my scripts that download the files/properly rename the files/put them into the correct folder could also
automatically add them to the plex database. Now that would be awesome! I guess I can always dream!
Anyways… Love the app…
Love the program too! Too bad there won’t be any updates, I really wish there was a way to adjust the release year for films and air dates for TV shows.
Okay, thread necromancy time - Plex/Nine has landed. Do you know if PlexDBEditor will be updated, or is the focus on getting such functionality built into the Media Manager? (Long term, I’d expect it to end up there, ala iTunes.)
Don’t worry, this is not a demand for it to show up now. Just want to know if it’s in the cards for some point.

Anything on an editor for 9? I have two TV series so far with incorrect information.
edit their entries on the tvdb, that way everyone will get the corrected info for them

why would you need it, if you can use plex media server to edit practically everything & more that the DB Editor did in 8?

It have been almost two months ago that has been sent.Its a pity, because my mouth was watering the possibility of finally being able to separate from the rest of my anime on my TV at least now I can separate my animated films, comedies, classics, etc. in my film.
Have you updated your great software for Plex 9?
No, and I won't do. I'm wondering why there are still requests for this. For Plex 0.8 this tool made sense, but now in Plex 0.9 the included Media Manager does the same (and more).
Because the Media Manager (1) does not provide some of the functions, like deleting a single episode from the DB, (2) PMS is unreliable, especially when it comes to trying to force it to reload existing episodes from strm files, (3) PMS sometimes has bugs, especially in network files (NFS, Samba) where a DB editor would be very helpful in resolving the issue, (4) PMS is focused on metadata, while I need to actually remove a record
Right now I'm stuck and, in order to clear a season from the DB to force complete reload, I may have to delete my DB and have it rebuild it entirely. What a waste. Yes PMS is good for editing Metadata, but if you're trying to resolve record issues it can suck.
UPDATE
My DB got corrupted, so I had to use SQL commands to export, delete, and re-import everything. Geee I wish that DB editor was still around to give me those options.
