Wow, very cool, thanks so much for making it and sharing  I love our community!

Thanks for creating and sharing the software. PlexEditor is great! However, it crashes when I use it to edit genres globally. Not sure if that’s because Plex Server has since been updated but at least I can still edit genres individually, which is still faster and easier than doing the same through Plex Server.

Hello

Is there a possibility to edit the cast?

Thomas

I’ve just release an updated PlexEditor for Windows v2.0 with a new updated resizable interface and many new features.

Are the Windows and Linux database structures identical? This app should work if pointed to a db on a shared drive, right?

This looks great, I'm going to try it out.

Looks like exactly what I need.  However, i'm running (for now) XP, SP3.  Editor won't run.  And when I attempt to install .NET 4.5, it tells me its not compatible with my OS.  Is this expected behaviour?  If so, no problem  Just making sure I'm not over looking anything obvious.

Thanks again

Best editor for Plex data !!!! I just purchased it. Thanks for the hard work.

There is no version for IOS? (Mac)

Love editing my NMJ library with NMJToolbox.  Just starting to get into Plex.  If PlexEditor was a little more similar to NMJToolbox I would definitely pay for it.

Is there a possibility to add a feature to set the seen status?

for example i want to set a whole bunch of Movies as seen

Interesting program. Though I wish it allowed for the editing of data that the built in UI didn't.

I wish I could edit the cast/actors metadata for instance.

Has anyone been able to get this program running on Windows 8.1?  I keep getting this error, and can't seem to find a solution.

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Conversion from string "" to type 'Integer" is not valid"

I am getting the same error on Windows 7. Anyone else seen it?

ThunderSpook.  Thanks for replying.  If I'm not the only one, and we're on different version of Windows, that means that this has the potential to be fixable!

I am on Win 8.1 and do not see that dialog box.  I have a different issue....

Where do you set the location of the "working copy" db?

I updated the bat files and have tested each line separately.  Individually and together, they all work fine.  However, when I am done editing and PMS is restarted, the changes I made are not there.  In fact, the PMS db file still has the date and time stamp from an hour before and the working copy db has the same date and time.  It feels like I am copying the original to the working copy but that I am editing something else.  And when I close it, the working copy (which never had any changes) is just going right back to being the original.

Is there a setting I missed or are there logs I can look at to see where it thinks it is editing.  I'm so close to getting this to work.

Just for fun, I uninstalled ALL versions of Visual C++ Redistributable, PEfW, and Netframework 4.5 on my PC.  Rebooted, reinstalled the Netframework, and let PEfW handle the C++ as the website says it should.  But no joy, same error on startup of the Editor I was getting before.

In Plex I have a “TV” library and a “Movies” library. I can only find one library database file and it’s the “Movies”. I want to figure out how to switch over to my “TV” library so I can edit the tags there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It seems that PlexEditor is no longer available (website doesn’t come up in DNS). Can anyone recommend another tool for editing my library Genre info, or where to find the install for PlexEditor?

Thank you
