In a future version it would be really nice if we could mark more than one movie/episode at the time. Saves alooot of time.

I’ve downloaded your app about 4 times now both in Safari AND Firefox. Safari ends the download with “The operation could not be completed. (SafariErrorDomain error 0.)” and Firefox looks like it has downloaded it but neither of the resulting zip files will unzip.

I’m seeing the same thing - both with Safari and Firefox.
Have tred unzipping from commandline and it appears the zip file is corrupted:
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of PlexDBEditor_v062.app.zip or
PlexDBEditor_v062.app.zip.zip, and cannot find PlexDBEditor_v062.app.zip.ZIP, period.
Strange… just tested the download, no problem when trying to unzip it. Anyway, I re-zipped it and uploaded it to a different location, so maybe you want to try this link.

I have two profiles… in the Editor I can see them, but switching between the profiles doesn’t change what is in the database…
In Plex the databases looks different.
I was hoping to use this to be able to check on and/or fix weird dates I get for some TV shows. Perhaps this question should be asked more generally, but I get these odd dates showing up sometimes. For example, Route 66 first aired on 1960-10-07, which is what thetvdb.com has, but in my PLEX it shows up as 5/15/28. VERY annoying. But most TV shows show dates correctly.

should be possible to add the modify of full-path of the library’s elements?
I need to move very many movies from one HD to another one…and it seems to me no possible in Plex without re-configure manualy each element’s info I have changed, thanks to DB Editor too…(titles, icons, fanarts, genres…).
Maybe just changing the full path in the Library, should preserve all these information…

PS…I tried leaving alias on the old HD ponting to the real movie’s file on the new one, but I don’t know why it doesn’t work from Plex Library section, but this works fine from Plex Video section and others video players…

Yes, the movie list should update, so something goes wrong. If you would send me a PM with the content of "**~/Library/Application Support/Plex/profiles.xml**" I could look into it.

Would it be possible to add a spot on the edit screen that shows the filename/directory that the entry points to.
I have several movies that the scraper gave no name to and I thought PlexDBEditor would be the perfect tool to help me go through and fix a bunch of entries, but I can’t see the file or directory names on the edit screen so I don’t know what to change the blank title entry to.
I know (hope) the next Plex DB is close to release, but just wanted to get this on the record.

sorry for the late answer. I just started a new job which takes too much time, so the new version 0.7 will be the last version of the PlexDBEditor… at least from my side. If anyone else beside “mkh” wants the source code just write me a PM.
The new version offers support for studios and the possibility to delete items has been enhanced (just drag&drop movies/genres/studios/tvshows/seasons/episodes on the trash icon). The link to the new version again can be found in the first post of this thread. I did NOT update the version for XBMC.
