Plexify discussion

To change to a specific directory within terminal just type "cd", hit space and then drag the finder folder you want to change to onto the terminal window

Thanks!

Still though:

sh-3.2# cd /Users/hue/Library/Application\ Support/Plexify

sh-3.2# git pull

I don't have great knowledge in this area, any tips what I should do to get it to work?

Plexify developer announced that the new 1.2 version is coming in 5 days... Maybe it'll include auto update for plexconnect! https://twitter.com/vahagnmkrtchian/statuses/436753729677971456

Hm. There is no straight line, is there?

What you would need to do is

type www.twitter.com in your browser window and click enter

sign up for an twitter account

twitter will then send you an email with a confirmation

Open your email and click the link

then you can follow the link i posted by clicking on it

you can ask the author of the app your question

pl. post the answer here for everyone to see, I'm curious too

So .. I am now more sure the Zenon will NOT work with PlexConnect, but with it's own tool (Stupid something to do, of course ..)

Happy update:

Eventually, Zenon will be open source. Which means that if it's won't work with PlexConnect we will be able to make it work with PlexConnect and still enjoy this great UI:

Hopefully he has grown up some. Trash talking everyone is not welcome here.

The circular, even möbius-like nature of this post confuses me.

Time is a flat circle

No release yet I suppose?

Any updates on this?

Why don't you backup your certs and settings.cfg file then use Plexify to clone a new copy of PlexConnect. I'm not sure why it didn't in the first place, i didn't develop plexify so i couldn't tell you. Do you have git installed? From command line type git it should prompt you to install git if it hasn't been installed. There are other options other then Plexify such as the official method or other apps to install PlexConnect on OSX but thats on you if you don't want to look into other possibilities if this is not working for you. Maybe something is corrupt or your journaled fs. Without trying to fix this on your own I don't see how you are going to get anywhere. Something is corrupt with your cloned PlexConnect you need to wipe it clean as a first step. Stop PlexConnect from running via Plexify then navigate to your Plexify generated PlexConnect folder and remove it completely and empty your trash.

I knew patience was the key! See it’s working out for the best. Soon we will have the luxury of using an updated Plexify! How exciting!

Don't forget it's most probably will not work with plexconnect but with it's own "plexconnect" tool to connect atv.
