.plexignore not hiding folder in folders view

Hi, i’m trying to hide a folder called underscoregsdataunderscore from some of my content folders and i’ve tried creating and placing the .plexignore in the root of the folder but it’s being ignored. I’ve tried re-scanning content but its still there. This is the contents of my file :

.plexignore

Ignore directories called “gsdata

gsdata/

Forum has removed my formatting above, but its asterisk_gsdata_forwardslashasterisk ^^

Still shows a folder called gsdata in ‘Folders’ view in Music for example.

It would be handy to have a tree style for selection of sub folders when adding content, that way i could just select all and then deselect the sub folder i don’t want included - is that possible?

These gsdata folders are used by a program called GoodSync which syncs content from my PC to my NAS so i need them to be there, i just don’t want them to be displayed in Plex…

ok, i discovered that Plex doesn’t like having underscores in the .plexignore ignore terms so i removed them and added asterisks before and after the name i wanted to ignore instead and its now working fine…
