I have a folder that frequently receives new video files that I don’t want in Plex. The folder is:
-Transcode Output-
In the root above, I have a .plexignore file with the contents: -Transcode Output-/*
Note the missing first * as it doesn’t seem to work with spaces.
I have the option “Scan my library automatically” switched on.
If I turn on the option “Run a partial scan when changes are detected” the ignored folder is detected and the server starts to analyse the contents. The server still seems to detect changes when new files are placed in the ignore folder, as it does frequent rescans.
Anyone else having a problem like this?
