I have a sub-folder I don’t want scanned, but no matter what I put in the plexignore file, the folder gets scanned anyway. I have it down to this now:
/*
Shouldn’t that be enough to take care of all subfolders and folders within the subfolders?
Edit: I’ve also used folder exclusion strategies like naming them “Extras” but that’s not working either
Windows 10
Plex Version 4.34.4
Try using */*. I recently tested and that prevents the scanner from scanning the current directory and at least 3 sub-directories deep (I didn’t test past that).

I find this feature very useful. For several Plex libraries I have a text file “.plexignore” with the following:
#*HIDE*
#*/*HIDE*
#*/*/*HIDE*
#*/*/*/*HIDE*
*PLEXIGNORE*
*m2ts*
