One of our favourite things to do is watch series/movies in a specific order. Is it possible to use a .plexlist file to ensure it plays in that order, switching between different series and movies automatically?
That sounds exactly what a regular playlist would do.
Basically, I’m just wondering if there’s an easier way via a cvs or similar. Manually selecting & adding 900+ Star Trek episodes would be quite a chore
You can add the a whole Star Trek show to a playlist and it adds each episode individually.
Right, that adds them sequentially as a season

As an example:
DS9 5 8
VOY 3 10
TNG MOVIE 2 Star Trek: First Contact
DS9 5 9
Obviously corrected to plex naming format but plays in that order… or I re-order it to list them by stardate and export the episode/movie order into a CVS for Plex to play in that order.
With the complexity of some universes this would really helpful (Marvel, Walking Dead, Arrowverse, etc) to pre-set the play order.
Ok but there is no function to do that in the app itself. I have no idea if there is some third party solution
