PlexMediaServer-1.21.1.3842-b0c7a97d9-x86_64 - Invalid File Format on DSM 7

I have a RS3618xs running DSM 7.0 (-41222, beta), and Plex Server Version 1.21.0.3744. Everything is working great.

Plex Server version 1.21.1.3842 just got released and while trying to do a manual update, I get the following message:

Invalid File Format. Please contact the package developer.

I’ve tried to download the package again, but I get the same results.

Is this version not compatible with DSM 7?

I was able to update to version 3870 without any problems using the DSM7 specific package. Thank you.

It is interesting the Plex Server still says an update is available…

I will follow the new DSM 7 thread…

I created these builds outside the normal update mechanism from the production software.

When DSM 7 is final release form, and these are released into the general distribution, the transition will be seamless.

For now, as I state at the bottom of the Preview thread’s opening post – Please ignore all update notifications until we are Release Status.
