Hi!
Just reading Tobias’s post, where he mentions: “I also want to reach out to people that want to help build Plex/HT for Linux, we are planning OpenELEC type distribution with Plex/HT onboard”
To me, an integrated, minimalistic, reliable and easy to use ‘PlexOS’ (There’s a captain obvious, name suggestion for you ;)), in the style of Openelec (not xbmcbuntu) would be the holy grail of media center frontends. My Linux skills are quite ok, but probably not good enough to help out in any meaningful way. So I wish - whoever works on this, the best of luck!.
Would love discuss possible features etc further!
Thanks for the links. Rasplex is what is interesting for me, as it's based on openelec I see. Plex on the Raspberry Pi, I'm not interested in. What hardware does Rasplex RC9 support ?
No idea sorry you'll have to ask Dale. I'm sure once he's releasing stable builds if he had enough interest he could port it to your desired interest.
Where did he post this?! This is exciting news!
