I have two Plex servers, one is the backup just in case I should have a crash. Both are online and registered (different email addresses and passwords on two different IP addresses).
I am considering a lifetime subscription. Will one subscription support both servers or do I need a separate subscription for each server?

You can have them both on the same plex.tv account and that way there would be one PlexPASS subscription
But if you decide that you want to have them owned by different plex.tv accounts then they would need separate PlexPASS subscriptions.
They can both be owned by the same PlexPASS account (you refer to as email address in your post)
