I have a scenario where my web server uses port forwarding. so instead of listening on port 80, it listens on 40 and my external access is x.x.x.x:40 to get to the index page. in trying to set up the web interface in PlexPy I try entering my external ip without the :40 and with the :40 but when I add it the plexpy install becomes unreachable both locally and remotely and I have to delete the folder and start over. I can access using localhost:8181 as long as I don’t try to enable the web interface but not through the web interface. any ideas?
here is the section I try to use. I use my external ip with and without :40 in this section and it restarts plexpy and it is unreachable. if I do it again and include the external ip in http root the same thing happens. only thing that works is local with no web interface as long as I don’t add anything in here.
