PlexScriptHost.exe High CPU Usage - 100% load on 1 core

I’ve been using Plex for a while and I love it!
For the past couple of weeks I have been having an issue where one of the multiple instances of PlexScriptHost.exe fully loads one of my cores. Usually only one PlexScriptHost.exe turns into a runaway thread, but I also once observed around 5 or 6 threads exhibiting the same behavior causing 100% CPU usage.

I turned on debug and verbose logging and left the server relatively unused for a couple of days. I have attached the logs and a minidump of the culprit.

I’d appreciate if someone could help me resolve this issue, Plex is just too convenient to replace!

Please tell me what further information I could provide.

Platform: Windows 10 x64 ver.1511 Build 10586.122
Plex Media Server: 0.9.15.6.1714-7be11e1 (also was an issue in version f46e7e6)

I also noticed that Plex performs file system operations every 2 seconds regardless of user activity. Maybe it’s related to the issue?

Late reply. Did you also have Networx installed at that time?

If so, this might be a related topic:

Yes, I was using Networx at the time and still am. Fortunately, either it or Plex were updated and the issue resolved itself a couple of months later.

Hmmm OK. I unfortunately still have this issue, exactly every 2 hours.
