Pley server uses wrong address for remote connection

I am running a plex server on a synology with two IP addresses. I configured the second lan to be the preferred under network and added both network ranges to the list of local networks. When I run the remote access test it always defaults back to the NAS IP of the first network instead of the second. Is there anyway I can enforce the second network card to be used for remote access?

That’s how a Synology behaves.

It always responds to PMS with its address.

If you want to swap them, you need to swap adapters and addresses.
