I’m working on a new skin for Plex and I’m trying to achieve a consistent look between, Movies, TV Shows, Music and channels. Can someone please tell me, whether a channel registers itself as a particular type i.e. Movies, TV Shows, Music, Pictures etc. or not? I’m trying to specify a particular view so for example Apple Movie Trailers which uses posters looks like Movies but iPlayer, YouTube, TED etc. which use video thumbs look like TV Shows. Is this possible?
To the best of my knowledge, plugins are identified just by the top level groupings “Video”, “Music”, “Pictures”, or “Application”. I don’t believe there are any options to subdivide video plugins between TV and Movies.
That’s a real shame as its going to cause me a few headaches when representing channels. Oh well guess I’ll have to make a few changes to my skin then. Thanks for the reply.
