Hello, and many thanks to upgrade this plugin for us.
I wan’t to know if I could use this plugin with a share plex server ? Is this plugin let me play all media without transcoding?? Cause on some files plex need to transcode video and it’s really server high usage, I see kodi let me play evry of this file without any problem, I want to know if I use this plugin if I have to transcode or if all ly video will play in direct stream???
If Kodi and your hardware support the playback and the PMS can send it (DP/DS), PM4K will play it.
I’ve Just install it on a google tv of one friend, seems to work well for my test. Let’s try some more files to see it now.
This plugin is the only way to have maximum original send from PMS, don’t know why plex want to transcode video who can be play directly, and my server cpu really don’t like it…

I was just wondering if there’s any plans to bring the UI design of this in line with the current Plex TV apps?
I’d love to use it as my daily driver, as Kodi is far better at dealing with different audio and allowing them to play back properly without having to convert/transcode on the server side (namely AAC5.1 tracks for me!), but the current UI design & UX of the interface is disjointed from the more modern feeling official app.
I just installed version 0.5.2_beta1.1. on osmc platform with kodi 20.1 and its running great. Thank you for all your hard work. Viewing collections in movies works good.
I was wondering if the background could be a single color no images from movies its make it very noisy.
Would it be possible to add the option of changing audio tracks on bonus features? Right now you can only have the first track enabled. If there’s a commentary track for some deleted scenes for example, it can’t be selected. I had to use the native Plex app instead. Shudders
Definitely don’t change the UI. It’s perfect the way it is.

When attempting to resume viewing video split into several files, the resume function does not work properly. It seems to load twice then goes back to the first.

Additionally, is it possible to add feature viewing the same collection items from different libraries like in the official plex client? I use collections to manage series including both movies and TV shows, so I would be very happy if the feature was also supported in PM4K.
I installed via zip file, PlexMod v0.5.2-beta1.1. I am doing this on an OSMC Vero4K+ that is current so it is running Kodi-v20.
I primarily use it for 3D consumption. I play MVC, as well as TAB/SBS files on different occasions. It works essentially flawlessly using the “official” Plex for Kodi add-on v0.3.5.
Is there anything I can look at to resolve this?

Using this PlexMod add-in it took two tries to play Jurassic Park 3D-MVC. The first time it took about 30 seconds for anything to come on the screen and when it did it was not right. The 3D was way off and the subtitles looked like they didn’t know where they were supposed to be. I switched back to the PfK add-on and the same file running on the same system worked great.

OK it’s stopped working for me again with the exact same error. Literally just worked one day and was broken the next time I came to use it. Reinstalling the addon didn’t work either.

Yep, same for me, regardless of the kodi version. Has to be something on Plex’s side.

Rolling back to PMS 1.32.5.7349-8f4248874 fixes it. Seems like there’s something broken.
Edit: Works with 1.32.6.7468-07e0d4a7e as well. 1.32.7.7484 broke it.
