So this is probably a stupid question. I am trying to get the Version for Kodi18 installed. How do I get the files for the installation? On the GitHub I can only see really old releases.
P4K is my main media Player so I am really happy that its being maintained again and happy to help
You install it from within Kodi. Go to the Add-Ons section on Kodi and look for the Plex add-on there. Plex is in the Video Add-Ons category iirc. When you install it it will pull in its dependencies at the same time.

Well, there is is work going on in this specific thread that is likely not in the official version, but keep in mind the topic of this thread is the Plex for Kodi add-on working under Python 3 in Kodi 19. If youâre installing in Kodi 18 that would be the a different build really.
The version from the Add-On repository is much newer than those version numbers mentioned on the GitHub page, and the official version supports Intro Skip, so itâs fairly new.
But if they have really found a fix for the 10-second delay on subtitles mentioned back up here, I look forward to the official release that includes this.
Yes the subtitles bug is annoying, especially with Anime (I cant understand japanese, but watch it with subs rather than dubs)
But from where on the GitHub you get the builds for kodi19? I cant even find them
Hi i tried your addon and it works flawlessly with my windows pc with matix alpha, so much faster than the official repo.

Tried to reinstall Kodi Matrix 19 and Plex for Kodi 19, and had two issues. Kodi 19 nightlies from 09/20, 09/18, and 09/16 would immediately crash upon attempting to install from zip repo for both develop and kodi19 - I tried an earlier version blind and 08/26 allowed me to install the addon, but then when I tried playing a H265 file directly, it would immediately crash to desktop before playing. It would play with H265 direct play disabled, and it would play non-H265 files correctly. Attached are two log files.kodi.log (107.7 KB) kodi.old.log (70.3 KB)
Try the Alpha version of Matrix.
The last nightly does not work.

Got it working with the Alpha, I donât know why the HDR10 Kodi forum thread links to the nightlies only but there you go
Tried to install the develop.zip version on today matrix build and got this message:
2020-09-24 20:01:07.191 T:1463 ERROR : CAddonInstallJob[script.plex]: The dependency on xbmc.python version 2.25.0 could not be satisfied

plex is a headache in windows this plugin with some videos work but with other you get a nice poster screen and the an extreme laggy menu.
Plex kodi connect does not work with kodi matrix, so no hdr
Kodi 17 with dsplayer is stuttering no matter what configuration.
Plex app no hdr
Plex Media Player no HDR and no intro skipping.
I think iâm done with this and moving to jellyfin or on kodi directly and my database on a nas
alpha2 is out - but again plex for kodi is not working âŠ
It will not even run.
develop_kodi19 should work with matrix alpha 2 (and the nightlies) now.
