This is a last ditched plea to see if anyone can point to this issue.
I’m running Plex Media Player on Ubuntu 18.04LTS, it streams movies and TV Shows I have on the hard drives without any issues, but when it comes to Live TV, PMP just falls over at random times with a “Playback Error!” This issue I don’t get through Chrome or Firefox anymore.
I’m at a loss, as I have my remote users who use PMP on Ubuntu having the same issue, so I got them to go back to using their browsers and everything works great.
Is it just my setup that’s having this issue with Live TV through PMP or are others? Would be great to finally sort out this issue as I do like using PMP over the browser. One thing I have noticed is that Live TV channels that get transcoded through the browser, don’t transcode on Plex Media Player and this may be the issue? Some weird issue with the Player that PMP uses?
