As per the topic heading. Live TV in PMP gives an “There was an Unexpected Error”. The same computer live TV works just fine in the browser app.
I have tried this on 2 computers, both are doing exactly the same thing, one is a brand new PMP installation. Both computers are windows 10.

Also, just to clarify, you actually have Plex for Windows/Mac installed not Plex Media Player (PMP) which is a different, separate program (and doesn’t have this particular issue).
Ah, thanks for that, considering a HTPC and just started investigating options. Will take a look as PMP
For an HTPC you definitely want Plex Media Player (as far as Plex options go).
PMP without a grid program guide in TV mode is a real capability gap.
The grid type guide is in normal mode but not in TV mode, I just can’t see any reason for this, in a HTPC system you want to do everything with the remote so I would think that most users would be in TV mode most of the time.
