PMS 1.13.0.5023 "Transcoder exited due to an error."

Seems to be specific to MKV videos with DTS 5.1 audio now on plex web.

Everything plays fine on my shield TV.

Log attached.

Thanks for the log files.

Can you make sure that Plex has access to the file(s) you’re trying to play.

The error in the log indicates the transcoder is exiting with the error “No such file or directory”.

Is it still the same with this I’ve literally changed nothing about how I install plex on freenas for years.

It’s driving me up the wall I haven’t been able to use my server at all or properly in over a month.

I’m experiencing something similar… only it happens to me when I’m using external subtitles (.srt).
When I choose none in subtitles it works fine and start transcoding.

I am having the same issue.

I have my files on a NAS, served via SMB (mounted on shield). Shield is where I am running my plex server.

When the subtitles are enables (ASS or SRT), plex media client stops working, and crashes. (How do I get the logs from the plex server running on Shield?)

I also get this one. But for me it seems to happen when it tries to play a trailer before the movie. Main files are on a QNAP NAS, server is set to play trailers for movies I own. Retrying generally works (so I’d always assumed it was looking for trailers from the internet and it was some sort of timeout related problem).

I have the same issue that I am only able to play without the external subtitle.
