**Hi I have recently upgraded to PMS 1.18.1.1973 and it starts to crash when any local or remote client trying to connect. I’m using windows 10 pro latest version. I haven’t had any problem before. **
Now my PMS complete unusable.
Please help me. Thank you
Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: all players
Hi thank you very much for the reply. I will try to rollback to previous version.
I have found my LIve Tv and DVR isn’t working at all. Plex android and iphone client shows no dvr connected but web version shows tv guide, live tv and scheduled recordings . Its quite strange. is there any plan to release a fix for this issue?
I can’t say for absolute certain but that’s what beta releases are for: to give people a chance to test them and report issues with the idea in mind that they will be fixed before the Public release
This latest release still causes my Windows PMS to crash every time it tries to transcode a video. I still have to disable HW acceleration in transcoding settings to prevent crashing.
@darciliciousHi I just received update notification for PMS 1.18.1.1973 via Public channel. I’m little scared to upgrade to that version. Is that all crashing issues sorted or it’s just the same version were on beta channel which cause lot of problems?
I upgraded just to see. Nvidia HW Transcoding is working fine on my end for remote uses. It looks like Intel IGPU crashes Plex. Try to make sure your Intel drivers are updated. Worked for the other person I helped, so hopefully it will do the same for you!!
So I don’t have the issue with the Plex server crashing after updating but it effectively kills live TV for Roku remote players. Movies were fine but guide won’t load. Backdated to version 17 live TV works fine again.
So basically best solution is stick to PMS 1.18.0.1944 until Plex developes fix it. I still wonder how did they rolled out unstable version on Public channel .
PMS 1.18.1.1973 crashing on Windows 7, my server is never set to the Beta release channel, this update was pushed out on the Public update channel. Had to roll back.
