PMS Bug with my laptop

I want to report bug on 1.15.4 and recent versions of PMS.
When I connect my Lenovo Yoga 920 4k Win 10 Laptop to TV via Type C/HDMI video cable and close the lid I observe 2 issues:

  1. the mouse pointer positions itself on the center of the screen and would not move
  2. the picture will squeeze and show a small window in the right bottom corner.

PS. Power setting set to never go to sleep when laptop cover is closed.

There is another separate issue when media plays on Samsung TV. About twice during the movie play sound disappears and reappears for a second.

Which client are you using to playback your media with Plex?

  • Plex Web (using a browser; if so… which one?)
  • Plex for Windows (from the MS App Store; if so… which version)
  • Plex Media Player (which version)

do you get the same symptom if you play a video e.g. through VLC or if you use your TV as external monitor for any other apps on your notebook?

Could you test/confirm this?
It’ll help to pin down the root cause of this behavior and to identify if it’s related to the Plex Media Player or the way Windows connects with the TV screen.
