PMS constantly crashing when playing on Roku Model 3810X (Streaming Stick +)

First it started just as intermittent issues, now every time I ask play any media on my Roku streaming stick, it crashes the entire PMS on Windows 10 Pro. It’s dedicated as a Plex server and I don’t understand why the crashing has become completely unplayable after many hours of viewing any/all content.

Series of events:

  1. Plex Player App and library is fully available and searchable on the Roku
  2. I select any playable media in the library to play on the Roku
  3. The media background and winding widget appears with no % processing, it just spins
  4. On the Windows 10 Pro box, the PMS crashes and goes offline
  5. I have to manually restart the PMS on the Windows 10 box to share media for all devices

These series of events happened too many times I guess where the PMS would not play for any device, even local on the Windows 10 device itself when at one time it was only happening to the Roku Streaming Stick.

Update - I decided to completely reinstall Plex on the sever because the crashes had totally corrupted the server and I wasn’t able to play media on any player. I’ve isolated this down to this specific Roku as I also have a Roku Ultra and that seems to be playing media OK, not great but OK. This is all recent issues as I’ve never experienced this level of crashing between my Roku devices and Plex where a full reinstall was my only remedy. Reinstall solved access to every other device except the Roku Streaming Stick. The device can stream all other online media (Netflix, Prime, HBOMax, etc.) without issue. Only Plex seems to be the problem.

2 sets of logs: 1 pre-reinstall and 1 post re-install.
