Hello, so I heard that Plexamp could benefits of the new neural network « sonic » and I updated my PMS install on my nas. The problem is when sonic analyses my album, it always end by a crash of PMS.
When there are not too much albums to analyse, it seems that the sever doesn’t crash (like for 5-10 albums).
But when I give it a all library, it gets mad and ■■■■ off my plex.
Any help please ? Thanks guys
plex server Version: 1.24.0.4930-6000
My Nas: DS218+ (Synology) with INTEL Celeron J3355 2thread 2ghz
I disabled the verbose mode.
Strange for sonic analysis, because i completed one with some albums from a “test library” I made last night.
/////But I have some news (bad indeed), the PMS crash / stops without sonic activated. (Yes, I disabled Sonic Analysis, few moments after, Plex did the same bug and stopped to work…). : FIXED ////
This bug happens to me since the last update I see. Never something like that before.
Oh i forgot this: I deleted the library associated with the missing medias 2-3 days ago. So this is fixed for now i think.
UPDATE: forget what I said about PMS crash without sonic, I stopped PMS by myself when you asked me and forgot it was me ahah.
Remains something strange : I did some analysis with sonic and there were really some crash few times after it…
After adding a new album to the music collection, Plex looks up the metadata and then proceeds to Sonic Analysis. Once it completes (apparently since the albums end up with Sonically Similar recommendations upon later inspection) the Plex server stops. I also have a Synology NAS. In DSM, I simply navigate to PMS and click Run to restart and all is good.
My details:
Hardware model - DS1019+
DSM version - DSM 7.0-41890
Plex version - 1.24.3.5033-7000
Review of the logs seems to indicate that crashes have resulted in logs being uploaded. The behaviour is very consistent.
Any further experience anyone has had with this issue?
