Looks like it fails during analyse of recorded TV-Shows, AFAICT
When said, you are running v1.16.2.1321-ad17d5f9e
I lot went into DVR and transcoder lately, so suggest you for a start upgrade to latest

I’ll give it a shot and see if that stops it, fingers cossed. It’s almost getting to every 24 hours like 1488:( if I do an uninstall but don’t go under the update folder to install the server and just get a fresh download from the website would that affect my data? Thank you!!
Just updated to 1554.
@dane22 I truly appreciate your help! Upgrading to the new server and also wiping the DVR folder has fixed the problem. Thank you!!
@dane22 talked too soon. crashed again, logs attached and any input is appreciated:)Plex Media Server Logs_2019-09-07_15-46-08.zip (9.1 MB)
Also Plex Media Server is using 18% to 25% of my cpu after upgrading to Version 1.16.5.1554. I started a different topic for that but maybe that’s whats causing the crash now
Cried out for help here, so if lucky, somebody will join this thread soon
Related or not but found a couple hundred errors in the media scanner analysis logs. All reported errors start around at 3am.
Particularly with the content in T:\Christmas\CHRISTMAS.MOViE.PACK\
Hi
Managed to locate all 3 crash dumps for the logs you provided for the crashes at
22 august @ 20:03 with PMS version 1.16.5.1488
3 Sep @ 10:21 with PMS version 1.16.2.1321
7 Sep @ 15:43 with PMS version v1.16.5.1554
The crashes on the 22nd August and 7th September are identical and appear to be whilst completing a DVR recording - not sure if it was ones that were being watched at same time.
Appears to be a timing bug - there has only been crashes from 73 users
The crash on the 3rd September was different but also DVR related
I am referring both crashes to the development team
Actually - it might have been end of live tv session
could you find out what Plex device/client app and version was being used for Live TV from remote user Hector starting to watch channel 741 at 15:33 on 7 Sep (remote IP was 47.198.xxx.xxx)
(there was a timeout of the session at 15:43 with last request from the client app at 15:40 )
I appreciate everyone’s reply! Just added a ton of my Christmas movies to my server for the upcoming holidays…I know a little too early lol. Hector uses a Roku and also a fire stick. But I’ll find out from him tomorrow which device he was using. Also as a temporary Band-Aid I put an app called restart on Crash which will start the Plex server right back up as soon as it crashes. Thank you!
@sa2000 nevermind I woke him up:) He was using a firestick.
Thank you. So it was the Android Plex App on Amazon Fire TV.
I have now referred the 22nd August and 7th September crashes to the development team. I am not bothering with the 3rd September as it was on an older version of Plex Media Server and for that crash I can only see reports from your server plus 3 other users.
Thank you I appreciate your help! Do you think if I temporarily remove my DVR schedule recordings that would fix the crashes? Also that’s the only firestick I have so I’m just going to get another Roku for that TV:)
I believe it was live tv for the remote user on the firestick and not a scheduled recording. It may be to do with how the Plex for Android app on the Amazon Fire was interacting with Plex Media Server. I cannot say at this stage
Okay appreciate the info. Thank you!!
