PMS Crashes in Safari when "Open Plex..." is used

When Plex Media Server opens up the Home page in Safari, Safari gives the error “There was a repeated problem…”.
This occurs in the latest public and beta of Plex Media Server, and Safari 15.4.

I seem to be able to access all other pages of Plex, just not Home.

Steps to repeat are:

  1. Open Plex Media Server
  2. Click ‘Open Plex…’
  3. Plex Home opens in Safari, and crashes

I could not reproduce this on the latest Chrome Beta.

There’s something up with Safari in the latest round of beta Apple software.

I’m having the same exact issue. Server version up to date. Selecting ‘check for updates’ does open successfully in safari. But, when selecting ‘open Plex’ from server, it crashes with the message “a problem repeatedly occurred with 127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html”.

I installed the desktop App for Mac and that works fine. Seems to only be when opening in safari.

Remote access from other devices also works fine.
