When I updated my library (as per Plex’s recommendation) I notice that on the first scan, all TV shows(1138 series) are added, and each episode s99e99 format is listed in the recently added section. I then added four new eps from various tv shows. A subsequent scan does not show these 4 new eps in the recently added section on home screen. (Before they simply appeared in the front of the list, pushing everything else to the right) However a search finds them as part of the season. I use the same m.o, on my documentaries section(294 series) and it works fine. Is there something unique about TV shows I need to know? Is my TV section too large?
