I cannot anymore see Recently Added TV in My Home Screen. I See Recently added Movies, Recently added Music but NO Recently Added TV Series. In Library I do have All Series checked to Recently Added in Library. I have tried prior versions and still the same, NO Recently added TV Series showing up in Home Screen
Is your TV library pinned?
If it’s not then Recently Added doesn’t kick in on Home.
If it’s pinned it will say “unpin”:
It is Pinned. Not sure if its the Pinned part thats the issue. I just today created another Plex Media Server in another Mac Machine “Identical” to the original that is not showing the Recently added TV Series. Identical in Every way. The New Machine Machine with the same version PMS, Pinned Categories, Same Source, Same everything - It shows the Recently added TV Series. It maybe a DB issue but I get No errors when I run a test on the DB. I will try the Pinning Part but then it won’t show the Categories on the Side Bar.
There was a bug at some point related to those recently added hubs… if something wasn’t enabled it wouldn’t show either but I’m not remembering or finding it. Hopefully one of the others will remember it. Something related to the merge recently added setting.
You are most likely correct about the bug in the recently added Hubs. I wonder when a FIX will be out to correct this. Is been going on for quite a few releases now.
I realized the Problem with the TV Shows Series not showing up for me was version 1.25.1.5286. Went back to a few previous versions and I saw the TV Series on Recently Added but with a few Posters missing. Again this is a CW Hub issue and the New update 1.25.3.5409 which release notes say addresses Hub issue with home screen does NOT address missing TV Series. Still Missing.
There was something with this “Merge recently added items” option that thew things off for some folks:
You might try fiddling with that one.
I did. When I unchecked the Merge Recently Added items box it shows my individual categories on the Home Screen. Below is an example.
Movie Comedy
Movie Drama
Movie Horror
TV Series Drama
TV Series Comedy
TV Series Horror
When you “Check” the Merge Recently Added items it should show in the Home Screen

The Recently Added Movies works as it should… Same as Music and Videos. The Recently added TV Series is the one Missing from the Home Screen… I did go back a few versions and I see the Recently added TV Series on the Home Screen. Its Version 1.25.1.5286 that has been a problem. I just update to Version 1.25.3.5409 most recent and same issue… TV series missing from Home Screen
I just created another Plex Server with most current version on another PC and it works fine. It seem that the Database maybe corrupt. Anyway to fix the DB without losing my categories. I already tried Optimizing the DB and cleaning the Bundle and no luck.
I have reset customization. No change. Still missing TV Series in Home Screen. All Categories are PINNED also. So I have dual sign in. rminassian and Wild930 are same person ME.
Try the following: Analyze the Series not the full Library.

thanks for the advise. Tried the Analyze method with no luck. I noticed that on the client I do see the TV Series recently added on the Home Screen. Only when I log into the Server side its does not show up. I will just try to repair DB. If that does not with then I will redo the library from scratch.
I redid the Plex Servers from scratch thanks.
