Apologies for the re-post but I sent this through the Nvidia Shield forum with little response. So wanted to get Plex Pass thoughts - or potentially even an employee (or ninja) to take a look at this.
Details are in the below link but in short, the past 2 Shield versions have choked on high bitrate (20k+) mkv files with forced subtitles. It gives the “server isn’t powerful enough” error every time. Non-sub movies work fine. It even causes PMS (and even the shield itself) to crash.
I was hoping it would be resolved in the next version but no dice. It’s been an issue for a while now and becoming a big annoyance - especially given the 1+ month release cycles waiting for this to get fix.
