Hey Guys,
I am having a strange issue, I have a folder with bunch of home videos, so I add my own title and sorting title (always the same value) and ensure I lock it. (as per screenshot below) , 2 weeks ago i noticed the TITLE was still locked however the value was empty, so I copy paste from Sorting title and saved, all good for a few days, and again I noticed today same thing happened (this could have happened 2-3 days ago, I just noticed today)
Any reason you guys can think of that would clear the value of Title?
on that note, is there anyway I can export the list of movies/TV shows to Excel so if this happens again I can easily copy/paste?
Cheers,
Items such as those need to be âmatchedâ using The Personal Media Agent.
Fix Match/Search Options/Agent/Personal Media
That tells Plex NOT to try to match them - and blow your edits every time it does - as you now know - that lock button does nothing if the item isnât âMatchedâ.
You can also put items like those into an Other Videos Library. Plex wonât match anything in one of those, but the Library isnât as versatile.
Interesting this collection under TV shows, has no âFIX Matchâ it has only âMatchâ if I go to another collection, which has actual TV shows, then I see âFIX MATCHâ
How about a way to export to CSV/Excel? anyway to do that?
So use Match instead.
That just indicates the item has never been matched.
If it had you would have seen:
Fix Match
or
Unmatch
did that, Search agent --> Personal Media shows
however,. when I try it again Match, still has Search Options --> Auto Match
Once you select Personal Media Agent - you then select the only item in the list, yours.
Thatâs it⊠ur done.
You can now edit safely.
Thanks!!! hopefully it doesnt change again!
Any insight on how to export a list of media to a text/csv format?
Nope.
Canât imagine why youâd do that, but someone else might knowâŠ
Just in case⊠do this as well:
