Plex server keeps quiting on NAS making it not available updated to current version thinking that would solve the problem
I turn it on and launch it but it just reverts to off

Did you ever solve this @FILMNIGHT365? I’ve been running plex on a Netgear 314 for about five years and in the last six months it’s started to misbehave. Now it will no longer start. I’m running a server version very close to yours (plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5246) which I think is the latest at the moment. Very frustrating when it won’t start as there are no errors logged on screen - it simply “does not start”
Hi i think the update for the nas may have sorted the problem along with the antivirus not updating this is the nas firmware 6.10.6 it also wouldn’t update on its own there hadn’t been an update for a while i guess covid etc
Go to the Netgear website check the latest fimware avaiable for your 314 download and install se if that helps

Simply download on a mac or windows sign into your nas go to the settings page click on upload select the img from the download it may be in a folder if it is open the folder and select the img upload wait for nas to install hope this is of help
