Are you recommending I change every one of these settings to “Never”?

I am recommending setting them to “never” one by one, with one or two days inbetween. Just so one can determine which of those is causing the flaw.

You can also opt to wait for the next Server hot fix which should land in a few days. It is supposed to fix one or two of the known crashes.

Decided to take a shotgun approach. I got as far as reconfiguring “generate video preview thumbnails” and “analyze audio tracks for sonic features” to “never”, but the number of processes grew from 12 to 17 since then. I have re-enabled every setting one by one, and in my testing the root cause of this problem is this setting: “Generate credits video markers” (Settings → Library) With this setting enabled, Task Manager shows 2 additional “Plex Transcoder.exe” processes every day after the 2-5 AM scheduled task w…

That seems to be the only setting causing me issues. I disabled “Generate credits video markers” again and the processes stopped incrementing. So it’s that one specifically. Is this a known issue? Was this supposed to be corrected in the newest build?
