PMS: Outbound Ports, Protocols and Targets

What ports and protocols does Plex Media Server use when talking to the Internet, and what specific external services/targets?

This is not a question about port forwarding or iptables INPUT chain. The question is in fact the opposite, e.g. iptables OUTPUT chain.

By default, the firewall (some enterprise appliance) that sits between Plex and the interwebs denies all outbound traffic from within the private network (inside) to the Internet (outside). The sucker is locked down tight: I need to explicitly define ACLs to permit Plex to communicate with external services (e.g. plex.tv). Does anyone have a comprehensive list available? For example, "PMS talks to plex.tv via TCP 443 to register itself." Sure I could watch the line with tcpdump/pcap or netstat my way into oblivion, but hey... maybe somebody already did the research.

There are of course the added variables introduced by third-party plugins. Let's forget about this complexity and limit it to a stock PMS install.

Inbound (outside => inside) ports are already defined at "What network ports do I need to allow through my firewall?", so I don't need this information.

Edit: meh, given all the NAS/iSCSI talk in the forums, the word "Target" in the title is not a wise choice. I mean "Target" as in "Destination Service".

I also default deny outbound and would like to know this. I see new SSH sessions being attempted to Hurricane Network ranges (which I think are used by Plex) that I hope are legitimate. [184.105.148.106] for example.
